To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.

  • Proficient in both English and Spanish.

  • Expertise in copyediting for style, grammar, accuracy, formatting, jargon, spelling and punctuation in both languages.

  • Attentive to detail and experience writing and editing engaging and useful product/service/business documents in English and Spanish.

  • Develop external communication pieces and messaging to elevate awareness, drive consideration and ultimately increase brand preference, encouraging internal and external loyalty.

  • Support executive, marketing and sales teams by keeping collateral up to date and on brand.

  • Anticipate needs, make recommendations, and assist with the organization’s messaging needs.

  • Write and edit online and print advertising, product launches for internal and external audiences, branding and event planning.

  • Develop and maintain website content, review translation of Spanish website content to ensure consistency of messaging, clarity and brand focus .

  • Increase customer satisfaction through the development and implementation of attention-getting, simple, clear and helpful communication.

  • Partner with various subject matter experts at all levels of the business and with Mountain America partners to create compelling, consistent, and meaningful messaging/content that helps achieve stakeholder goals for target audience.

  • Work with Compliance team to ensure regulatory and legal compliance in all messaging.

  • Understand the needs, motivations and aspirations of target audiences to create effective marketing communications.

  • Write and edit all articles and web content with best SEO practices in mind.

  • Assist with managing vendor content development, approval and placement, specifically with our translation service partner.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience

  • 5 years of experience in a corporate communications, public relations, or online editorial/content writing environment; experience working in fast-paced creative/professional environment.

  • Fluent in English and Spanish.

  • Experience in a financial setting/environment preferred.

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, or other relevant field. Education will be verified. OR eight years total of combined experience in a progressive marketing setting.
